About

My name is Costis Papatheodorou and I’m a freelance digital illustrator, 3D artist and photo retoucher.

I have worked for ad agencies such as Publicis, Leo Burnett, DDB, Sleek Machine, Bold Ogilvy & Mather, Cream, The Newtons Laboratory and clients such as Newsweek Int, Dodge, Volkswagen, Johnnie Walker, Gordon’s Gin, Phillip Morris, P&G;, Vodafone, Nescafe, Cosmote.

My 20 years experience in advertising allows me to meet tight deadlines with exceptional work, to confront problems with creative solutions and to either follow directions or complete tasks independently.

As a CG Generalist I pride myself on a strong 2d & 3d pre-visualisation capability, exceptional lighting skills and a solid composition sense and overview of the entire 3d scene process. As a self-taught artist I enjoy an uncommon ability to adapt, learn and improve a new workflow and tools. Currently I am fluent at Autodesk 3ds Max (Vray, itoo forest, Octane), 3dCoat, Adobe Painter , Agisoft Photoscan, HDRI Light Setup, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator.

But enough about me. Let’s move on to my 3d illustrations for advertising, my digital paintings, my editorial illustrations and my photo retouching, some of which you can find here.

If you want me to work on your next project, let me know.
