Unicef – for ever child | Miltos Big Adventure

A children book I worked on for Unicef. The story written by Vaggelis Illiopoulos.

Through a fully accessible story addressed to children and adults, UNICEF aims to raise awareness among the general public and, also, targets to eliminate the destigmatization of the children living in institutions around the country.

Miltos, the book’s little hero, talks about his adventure that started from the moment he was forced to be separated from his family, the mixed feelings he experienced during institutional care and the light of hope that brightened his life when he found a loving hug only for him!

The book has been released for the first time on May 15 2022, with the “Kathimerini” newspaper, in the context of the UNICEF and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs campaign, “Change a Child’s Life. Be a Foster Parent”, funded by the European Union.
